Selene-50cm Slatted Side Table with LED Lights

I couldn’t be happier with side table. It was quickly shipped after purchase and was delivered by FedEx. The box was badly damaged, but because the packaging was so well designed and secure, there was no damage to product, not even a scratch. The table is practical, functional and overall well designed. It’s ready to use right out of the box, just plug in the lights and voila! The back end is also designed for function, the built in compartment hides electrical cords and power strips.

I ordered one and then ordered a second side table. I did have a problem with the second side table, but Povison replaced it quickly after providing the details of the issue and the required documents. The unit comes with a remote and the LED lights look great. The front opens and has a soft close door. These look great, they are well built, and and you can display some items nicely. The bottom area is harder to use for display, but is a nice storage space for smaller items. Yes, these are more expensive, but I have been looking for a quality mid century modern looking set of furniture and found that I was very happy with the quality. The packing is secure and heavy duty.

This is a beautiful, well built piece of furniture. It came fully assembled and was an ease to unpack. We are using it as a compact media console and it works great given the built-in cord management.

While this piece was seemingly shipped very well (wooden crate and good cushioning) I had plenty of issues with it after delivery. 1. Photo 1: I had to re-glue the entire trim piece as it was broken off. Poorly secured with a single wood tack and a comical amount of glue. 2. Photo 2/3: Major alignment issues on one side compared to the other side. 3. Photo 4/5: I thought this would be glass, but it's cheap plastic that was damaged on arrival. 4. Multiple screws were completely loose and rolling around in the unit. I suspect some of the damage is probably from this, as well as the un-fastened hardware moving around and hitting nearby panels in shipping. In summary, for the amount you are paying for this I would recommend against purchasing this. Hiring a local craftsman is probably the better route.
